As a child going to the Pioneer Hall with my mum and her friend Pauline, it was always good to be sitting by Mary, she was always such a happy lady. Then as a young adult, I worked alongside her at Whitley Hospital. Again she brightened up the dreariest days! She could talk to anyone and every one, she was simply 'infectious!'. My dad and Tony were great friends for many years as they worked together at Rolls Royce and he and my mum always said what a great couple Mary and Tony were. you'd always be wanting to sit at their table on a night out! Now reunited, Rest in Peace Mary and Tony xx
